Does the client need a business account?

Yes — the Instagram account must be a Business or Creator account (not a personal account). If your client has a personal account, they can switch to a Business account for free through Instagram settings.

Is Instagram linked to a Facebook Page?

Yes — Instagram Business accounts are managed through Meta's Business platform, which requires a linked Facebook Page. When your client connects via Joiyn, both assets can be granted in the same flow.

Can I access Shopping features?

If your client has Instagram Shopping enabled, you can manage product tags and catalogue connections through the granted access. Shopping setup itself must be done by the account owner through Meta Commerce Manager.

What about Instagram Reels?
