What ad account permissions do I get?

You receive campaign management permissions including the ability to create, edit, pause and delete campaigns, ad sets and ads. You can also view performance reports, manage audiences, and adjust budgets within the limits set by the account owner.

Can I manage billing?

You get visibility into billing status and spend. However, payment method management (adding or changing credit cards) remains with the account owner. You can set spend limits and daily budgets for campaigns you manage.

What about custom audiences?

You can create, manage and use custom audiences within the ad account. This includes website custom audiences (via Pixel), customer list audiences, and lookalike audiences. Audience data stays within the client's ad account.

Does this include Instagram ads?

Yes — Meta Ad Accounts manage ads across both Facebook and Instagram. When you have ad account access, you can run campaigns on all Meta placements including Instagram feed, stories and Reels.
